Meet Rye and Moose, two playful and affectionate two-year-old Labrador boys who make the perfect, easy-going pair! These bonded best friends love the outdoors, spending time with their people, and bringing a perfect balance of energy and calm to any home.

Rye and Moose are super polite and well-mannered in the house. They’re brilliant, intelligent dogs who are easy to live with, adapting to the flow of daily life. They enjoy their quiet time and are content to relax, whether that means lounging on the couch or resting nearby while you go about your day. When it’s time for a walk, though, they’re ready to go!

Rye is a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy, enjoying downtime in the yard or inside with his people. Moose is a bit more independent but still loves to stay connected and keep an eye on what you’re up to.

Both boys are working on their leash skills and enjoy their walks. Rye is confident on leash and responds well to redirection with treats, while Moose, who is food motivated, benefits from occasional redirection to stay focused. Solo walks will help Moose build his confidence before joining Rye for tandem walks.

Rye and Moose are friendly with other dogs, having met dogs of all sizes in their neighborhood. Though they haven’t been around cats or young children, they would do well with older children (8+) who are experienced with dogs. They love a good game of fetch and are continuing to work on their recall before going off-leash in unsecured areas.

Car rides are another favorite, with the boys happily resting or watching the world go by.

Rye and Moose offer the best of both worlds: fun, playful energy for outdoor adventures and easy-going companionship for quiet moments at home. They’re looking for a loving family who will help them continue to thrive, shower them with affection, and give them the wonderful life they deserve.
