Hi, I’m Pixie!
I’m a young, eager-to-please girl looking for a loving home where I can continue to learn and grow. I give the best kisses and love rolling over for belly rubs. I like a soft approach and a yummy treat when meeting new people and before you know it I’m warmed up and letting my bubbly, playful personality shine bright.
I’m settling into my foster home with two older female Labs who are showing me the ropes. They even let me snuggle up to them for a nap! I’m so lucky, they even share all their toys with me too! It’s a dog’s dream life over here
I’m learning about walking on a leash, but I let my human adjust my harness so it fits perfectly and now I’m all set to learn. Being super food-motivated, I’ll do just about anything for a treat, which makes training a fun! I already know some basic commands like sit, paw, and off, and My little body can’t help but wiggle, wiggle when I hear those words “good girl”. I’m a bit bouncy when the excitement takes over but I’m sure with some help, I’ll learn to hone my inner zen.
I’m fantastic in the car; I hop right in, lay down, and enjoy the ride. I don’t think I’ve tried that game called swimming yet.
I’m so ready to find my forever best friend and a family who will love me unconditionally. A quiet, mature home with patience, guidance, and a positive, nurturing approach would be the perfect fit for me, oh, and expert belly rubbers are a must! Shower me with love, and I promise to return it tenfold!
Love Pixie
FOSTER UPDATE:
“She is doing very well! Her personality is very sweet, she is a very happy girl, busy but in a good way, playful. She is very good in the house she goes to the back door and has done her business outside there have been no accidents at all! We have discovered she knows some basics, sit ,down , shake a paw. She walks pretty good on the leash, she wanders a bit instead of heeling by your side. But that will come plus all new surroundings to discover and sniff! She is also very good at night , goes out with our girls (Labs) has her night time pee and off to bed she goes and not a peep!”
