Hi, I’m Sunny!

I’m just shy of nine years old, weighing in at nice light 70 pounds. I’m a laid-back, sweet senior who loves lounging on the couch—sometimes even sleeping there at night. I’m polite and well-mannered in the home, never destructive.

On walks, I’m generally good on leash, though I can pull a little, especially when I spot another dog. I get excited because I used to live with a canine companion, and I really miss having a friend by my side.

When it comes to people, I’m relaxed and friendly. I wag my tail, take a sniff, and see if you have any treats before moving on. I’m gentle around children and affectionate with strangers. My activity level is moderate—pretty typical for a Lab my age. My joints are in good shape, and I ride calmly in the car, enjoying the ride without bouncing around.

The one thing I’m not a fan of? Thunderstorms. They scare me a little, so I’ll need some extra comfort during those noisy weather spells.
