Hi, I’m Ruby Roo — but you can just call me Roo! I’m a big-hearted love bug who adores snuggling with my people. If there’s an empty spot next to you on the couch, I’ll be right there, ready to curl up and keep you company. I love humans of all sizes and need zero time to warm up — whether you’re an adult or a kid, I’m ready for pets, belly rubs, and all the love you can give. I’ve even lived with young kids and was fantastic with them! I like to follow my foster’s grandkids around and happily sit with them while they pet me.

I’m polite and well-behaved in the house, whether my humans are home or out running errands. If you have to leave, no worries — I’ll just nap on the couch or relax in the living room until you get back. I’m used to having a fenced yard where I can run and play with my toys, and I know all my basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, eat, and no.

I absolutely love my walks and hikes, especially when I get to explore nature. I wear a harness, and while I might pull a little at first (it’s just so exciting!), I settle down quickly with consistent direction and patience. 

I’d like to be the only furbaby in my forever life. I’d do best with walks in quieter areas while I adjust to my new home and build a bond with my forever human.

My needs are simple: regular exercise, plenty of cuddle time, and a place to hang my leash. Oh, and treats — I am a Lab, after all! If you’re looking for an affectionate, loyal companion who’s ready to be your best friend, I might just be the perfect match. Let’s snuggle soon!
