Ace

Simply put, Ace is the sweetest dog!

This gentle boy is just looking to be loved. Ace has been a wonderful house guest in his foster home. While wanting to play with the 2 more senior dogs in the house, Ace has been respectful of their space. Easy going with food and treats, Ace is just learning about toys and loves a good game of tug-o-war or fetch and is learning hard chew bones are a new favorite.

Ace can take a few moments to warm up to new people but a well placed scratch and a soothing "hello" and soon he is trailing behind you wherever you go.

In the house, Ace has been quiet and gentle. He will bark to alert you to something new and can startle at new sounds but will soon settle when he knows all is well. Ace is always looking for love and a cuddle and will often settle at your feet or find a special spot where he can curl up and snooze.

Ace is learning to walk on a leash and is gaining skills every day. He can pull on leash, eager to get to new smells and good sniffing spots but is practicing "look", "easy", "lets go", "this side", "wait", and "sit" on walks to manage his excitement. Walk in an area that has lots of trees and vegetation and Ace is a dream to walk as he explores all the world! In the back yard, Ace is all about playing fetch and running around.

Ace is looking for a home that can match his need for love! He needs a home that can continue and is dedicated to working on his leash skills. This beautiful boy is more suited to older children as his size and puppy playfulness at times could knock a smaller child down.
